The Nursing Assistant Program in South Seattle College is a one-quarter program offered in summer, spring, winter and fall. Considered as one of the largest community colleges n Washington, Shoreline Community College offers a fulltime one-quarter Nursing Assistant program that runs for 11 weeks. This program is composed of clinical and lab sessions and theory/classroom classes. The program covers HIV/AIDs, basic patient care, first aid and dementia care, among others. Highline Community College offers a one-quarter full time Nursing Assistant Certified training program. To qualify for this CNA training Seattle program, prospective candidates must be 18 years or older, proficient in spoken and written English and able to meet the physical prerequisites for an NAC.
