Fort Wayne Fort Wayne Community Schools

The CNA Program at Fort Wayne Community College follows the state mandated curriculum of 30 classroom hours and 75 hours in a clinical facility. Graduates are eligible to take the state exam leading to certification as a nurse assistant. The course fee of $975 includes CPR certification and the state certification exam, which is scheduled for one month after students complete the program. Additional costs include transport to and from the clinical site, criminal history check, TB test, and physical exam.

The Nursing Assistant certificate course at Ivy Tech comprises of both classroom and clinical training. Students who successfully complete the exam receive eligibility to test for certification.
